CHAPTER 263.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and ninety-
|
 
|
nine of article one of the Code of Public Local
|
 
|
Laws of Maryland, entitled " Allegany county,"
|
 
|
sub-title "Birds," as enacted by the act of eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and seventy-four, chapter twenty-three,
|
 
|
and enact other sections in lieu thereof, to be
|
 
|
known as 199, 199 a, 199 b, 199 c, and 199 d.
|
 
|
 
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That section one hundred and ninety-
|
 
|
nine of article one of the Code of Public Local Laws,
|
 
|
entitled "Allegany county," sub-title "Birds," as
|

enacted by the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-
|
 
|
four, chapter twenty-three, be and is hereby repealed,
and the following sections enacted in lieu thereof, to
|
 
|
be known as 199, 199 a, 199 b, 199 c, and 199 d :
|
 
|
199. Any person who shall shoot, kill or destroy
within the limits of Allegany county any hawk, owl
|
 
|
or weasel shall be entitled to receive from the Com-
|

tion allowed.

missioners of said county, upon complying with the
terms of this act, the following sums of money, viz :
|
 
|
For every hawk or owl so killed, shot or destroyed,
|
 
|
the sum of thirty cents, and for every weasel, the
|
 
|
sum of twenty-five cents.
|
 
|
199 a. The person so killing, shooting or destroy-
|
 
|
ing any such hawk, owl or weasel, shall, in order to
|
 
|
get the benefit of this act, take said hawk, owl or

same had made the affidavit required by this act,

and shall receive from such person for such service
|

the sum of fifteen cents for every case in which there
