CHAPTER 36.

|
AN ACT to require and direct the Clerk of the
|
|
|
|
Circuit Court of Baltimore county to make and
|
|
|
|
transmit to the Treasurer of said county, records
|
|
|
|
of abstracts from all conveyances and assignments
|
|
|
|
of real estate left in the Clerk's Office of Balti-
|
|
|
|
more county for record, and to authorize him to
|
|
|
|
charge proper fees therefor.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court
|
|
|
|
for Baltimore county shall, immediately upon the
|
|
|
|
receipt of any deed in his office for record, convey-
|
|
|
|
ing or assigning any real or leasehold estate in said
|
|
|
|
county, make an abstract of the same, containing

the names of the grantor or grantors and grantee or

|
grantees, the date of the deed, the quantity of land
|
|
|
|
conveyed or assigned, if stated in the deed, the loca-
|
|
|
|
tion thereof, so far as practicable, or if the location
|
|
|
|
cannot be given from the deed, such other descrip-
|
|
|
|
tion of the same as may be necessary for its identifi-
|
|
|
|
cation without a description by metes and bounds,
|
|
|
|
and a record of the abstracts so made shall be trans-

mitted by the Clerk of said Court to the Treasurer

of said county on Monday of each week at his office
|
|
|
|
in Towsontown, and as compensation the said Clerk
|
|
|
|
shall charge and receive from the person who pays

for the recording of the deed a fee of twenty-five
|
|
|
|
cents for each deed left in the said Clerk's Office for
|
|
|
|
record.

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take
