AN ACT to authorize the Comptroller and Treas-

urer to adjust and settle the accounts of the State
|
 
|
against the Chester River Steamboat Company.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the Comptroller and Treasurer
|
 
|
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered
|

to adjust, compromise and settle the account of the
State of Maryland against the Chester River Steam-
boat Company up to the first day of January, eigh-
