AN ACT to provide for taking the sense of the peo-

ple of Washington county, relative to a change
|
 
|
in the present site of the Alms House, and the
|
 
|
removal of the same, and purchase of a new site,
|

as provided by chapter 311 of the acts of the Gen-
|
 
|
eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
|
 
|
session of eighteen hundred and seventy-two.
|
 
|
Whereas by an act of the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, chapter three hundred and eleven, passed
|
Preamble.
|
at the January session, A. D., eighteen hundred and
seventy-two, and approved April the first of the
|
 
|
same year, the County Commissioners of Washing-

ton county are duly authorized to change the present
