CHAPTER 33.

AN ACT to amend an act passed at the Decem-

ber session of the year eighteen hundred and

thirty-nine, chapter three hundred and three, en-

titled "An act to incorporate the Junior Fire

Company of Frederick city, in Frederick county,"

and the supplements thereto, by changing the

name of said company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the name of " The Junior Fire

Company of Frederick," incorporated by the act of
the December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-

nine, chapter three hundred and three, entitled "An

act to incorporate the Junior Fire Company of Fred-

erick city in Frederick county," and the supplements

thereto, be and the same is hereby changed to the

name of " The Junior Steam Fire Lngine Company,

Number Two, of Frederick," and that the said " Ju-

nior Fire Company of Frederick " shall be hereafter

known and designated by the name of " The Junior

Steam Fire Engine Company, Number Two, of Fred-
erick," and shall, under the name last aforesaid,

have and succeed to all the rights, privileges, powers
andproperty of the said " The Junior Fire Company

of Frederick," and shall be subject to all the debts,

engagements, contracts and liabilities of the same

last-named company, it being the intent of this act

to effect no other change in the said " The Junior

Fire Company of Frederick " except a change in the

name thereof.
