	CHAPTER 32.
	AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Com-
	missioners of Baltimore county to levy a sum of
	money to pay certain assessors appointed under
	the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-six, gen-
	erally known as the Assessment Act.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
	Baltimore county be and they are hereby authorized	Authorized
	and directed to include in the annual levy for taxes	and directed
	for county purposes the sum of seven hundred and	to levy.
	seventy-two dollars, to be applied as follows : To be
	paid to James W. Owings the sum of one hundred
	and fifty-two dollars, for thirty-eight days services as
	one of the assessors of Baltimore county after the
	time limited by the act of eighteen hundred and
	seventy-six ; to be paid to John P. Clark the sum of
	two hundred and forty-four dollars, for sixty-one
	days services as aforesaid ; to be paid to Patrick Gal-
	lagher the sum of two hundred and sixty-four dollars,
	for sixty-four days services as aforesaid ; to be paid
	to Thomas A. Elliott eighty-four dollars, for twenty-
	one days services ; to be paid to Charles O. Kemp
	twenty-eight dollars, for seven days services as afore-
	said.
	SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect	In force.
	from the date of its passage.
