CHAPTER 197.
AN ACT to repeal sections one, two and five of
chapter two hundred and twelve, of the acts of
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, entitled an act
to authorize the County Commissioners of Wi-
comico county to levy taxes on the assessable
property of said county, for the purpose of pur-
chasing a site on which to erect a court house and
jail, and furnish the same, and to re-enact the
same with amendments so as to read as follows :
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections one, two and five of
chapter two hundred and twelve, of the acts of
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, entitled an act
to authorize the County Commissioners of Wicomico county to levy taxes on the assessable property of	Repealed and re-enacted.

which to erect a court nouse and jail, and furnish
the same, be and the same are hereby repealed and
re-enacted so as to read as follows :
