SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

CHAPTER 179.

AN ACT to lay out and establish a new election
|
 
|
district in Frederick county, out of part of Lib-
|
 
|
erty District, number eight, to be called Linga-
|
 
|
nore District, or election district number nineteen.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That a new election district be laid
|

out and established out of part of Liberty District,
number eight of Frederick county, the said district

|
to be known and called by the name of Linganore
|
 
|
District, or election district number nineteen.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundaries of

said district shall be as follows, to wit : Beginning

at a white oak tree at the intersection of the Cop-

permine road with the Johnsville District line, run-

ning thence south to the spring-house of Henry
Carter, thence with spring branch to New Liberty

road, thence south to the bend in the public road
|

west of the dwelling-house of William H. Baker,

thence with said public road until it intersects the

Woodville District line, thence with said line to the
|
 
|
Carroll county line, thence with said Carroll county
|
 
|
line until it intersects Johnsville District line, thence
|
 
|
with said line to the place of beginning, the terri-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of hold-
