Not lawful

lawful for any person or persons or body corporate

to sell spirituous or fermented liquors in any of said
|
 
|
hereinbefore designated election districts of said
|
 
|
county voting by a majority against the selling of
|
 
|
the same.
|
Shall be guilty
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That if any person or
persons or body corporate shall be guilty of a viola-
|
 
|
tion of this act in selling spirituous or fermented
|
 
|
liquors in any or either of the said election districts
|
 
|
of said county where the majority has been cast
|
Penalty.
|
against such sale, they shall, on conviction thereof,
be fined in the sum of not more than three hundred
|
 
|
dollars, nor less than fifty dollars for every such
|
 
|
offence, in the discretion of the Circuit Court.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

effect immediately after it shall have been deter-

mined by a majority of votes cast at the said election
|
 
|
in any one or more of the said hereinbefore designated
|
 
|
election districts of Queen Anne's county whether or
|
 
|
not spirituous or fermented liquors shall not be sold

as hereinbefore provided for.

CHAPTER 177.
AN ACT to repeal sections two, five, six and seven
of the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-six,
chapter two hundred and eighty-one, entitled "An
act to provide for the regulation of the sale of
spirituous and fermented liquor, or lager beer, in
Cecil county," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections two, five, six and seven
of the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-six,
chapter two hundred and eighty-one, entitled "An
