CHAPTER 176.

AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of the sec-
|
 
|
ond, third, fifth and sixth election districts of
|
 
|
Queen Anne's county to determine by ballot
|
 
|
whether spirituous or fermented liquors shall be
|
 
|
sold in any of said election districts, or a license
|
 
|
granted for the sale of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the question of whether or not
|

ance with the law governing general elections of this

State, and that ballots for or against such sale shall

have printed on them or written on them the words,

" For the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors," or
|
 
|
" Against the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors,"
|
 
|
and that the ballots so cast shall be carefully count-

ed by the judges of said general election, and that

said judges shall make a return of such vote to the
|
 
|
judges of the Circuit Court for said county, and if it
|
 
|
shall appear that either one or more of the said
|
 
|
election districts hereinbefore designated of said

county shall have cast a majority of votes against

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if it shall be

found by said returns of judges of election, and
|

proclamation of the judges of the said Circuit Court,
|
 
|
that a majority of the votes in any of said herein-
|
 
|
before designated election districts of said county, or
|
 
|
all of them, has been cast against the sale of spirit-
