Washington county, deceased, in and by her last will


and testament, to the Trustees of the Presbyterian


Church of Hagerstown.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

CHAPTER 27.


AN ACT to repeal section five of the Act of the


General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its session


of eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter one


hundred and forty-four, entitled " An act to repeal


sections five and six of the act of the General


Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January ses-


sion, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter


two hundred and twelve, entitled an act to provide


for taking a vote for or against a new county in


certain election districts in Allegany county, at the


election to be held in the fall of eighteen hundred


and seventy-two," and to re-enact the same with


amendments, and to re-enact said section five with


amendments, so as to read as follows :


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That section five of the act of the


General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its session


of eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter one


hundred and forty-four, entitled " An act to repeal


sections five and six of the act of the General

Repealed and

Assembly of Maryland, passed at January session,

re-enacted

eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter two hun-
dred and twelve, entitled an act to provide for taking
a vote for or against a new county in certain election


districts in Allegany county, at the election to be


held in the fall of eighteen hundred and seventy-
