CHAPTER 127.

AN ACT to authorize and require the County Com-

missioners of Charles county to pay to Thomas

Skinner, of said county, the sum of one hundred

dollars, for money paid for hawks, owls, fox and

weasel tails, killed in accordance with the provi-

sions of the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-

six, an act to encourage the killing of said hawks,

owls, &c.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of

Charles county are hereby authorized to pay to
Thomas Skinner, of said county, the sum of one hun-

dred dollars, out of any money that may be in their

hands not otherwise appropriated, to refund to him

of hawks, owls, foxes, weasels, &c., killed by them

&c.

in the years eighteen hundred and seventy-six and

eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, as certified to

Affidavit

by said Thomas Skinner, in his affidavit sworn be-

sworn.

fore Justice of the Peace, W. Dunnington, on the

thirtieth day of January, eighteen hundred and sev-

enty-eight.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
