	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of
	complying with the provision of the first section of
	this act the said Commissioners of Baltimore county
	are hereby authorized and empowered to assess all property benefitted by said opening of said avenue and	Empowered to assess.

	fore rendered, or, in their discretion, to ascertain the
	amount in the manner now prescribed by law for the
	opening and construction of roads with right of	Right of

	CHAPTER 126.
	AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of
	Caroline county to levy a sum of money as a pen-
	sion for Mary Gannon, of said county.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
	Caroline county be, and they are hereby authorized, in their discretion, to levy upon the assessable prop-	Commission- ers authoriz'd
	erty of said county, for the sum of thirty dollars for	to levy.
	the year eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, and
	the same amount for the year eighteen hundred and
	seventy-nine, as a pension for Mary Gannon, of said
	county.
