SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of

complying with the provision of the first section of
|
|
|
|
this act the said Commissioners of Baltimore county
|
|
|
|
are hereby authorized and empowered to assess all
property benefitted by said opening of said avenue and
|

to ascertain said amount by the inquisition hereto-

fore rendered, or, in their discretion, to ascertain the
|
|
|

amount in the manner now prescribed by law for the
|

opening and construction of roads with right of

appeal to the Circuit Court as usual, and to enforce

appeal.

the payment of such assessment when so ascertained
|
|
|
|
as in other like cases by law now provided.

CHAPTER 126.

|
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Caroline county to levy a sum of money as a pen-
|
|
|
|
sion for Mary Gannon, of said county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Caroline county be, and they are hereby authorized,
in their discretion, to levy upon the assessable prop-
|

erty of said county, for the sum of thirty dollars for
|

the year eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, and

the same amount for the year eighteen hundred and

county.
