CHAPTER 125.


AN ACT to pro vide for paying the costs and expenses


of grading Wilkens' avenue from Gwynn's Falls to


the Rolling road, in Baltimore county, by the com-


missioners of said county.


Whereas, under an Act of the General Assembly,


passed April fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy,


and a further act, passed March twenty-third, eighteen
hundred and seventy-six, the Commissioners of Bal-


timore county, upon certain conditions therein stated,


were authorized to have Wilkens' avenue from


Gwynn's Falls to the Rolling road graded; and


whereas the County Commissioners of Baltimore


county did contract with P. O'Brien and others for the

grading of said avenue from the west side of Gwynn's
Falls to the eastsideof the Rolling road, in said county;
and whereas, although the work was executed and


completed eastward from the Rolling road until it


intersects with the Maiden's Choice road, at the Bal-


timore and Potomac Railroad, where said contrac-


tors were stopped by injunction, the claim of the


contractors and their associates in said work remains


unpaid by reason of alleged omissions and errors of


the said Commissioners of Baltimore county ; now,


therefore,


SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
