Mr. Laird submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 22d, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We have received your message non-concurring in
the message of this House, proposing the appoint-
ment of a committee of conference on the disagreeing
votes of the two Houses on the subject of adjourn-
ment; the inequality of membership of said proposed
committee was an oversight, and we now propose the
appointment of a committee of six, three on the part
of each House, to consider the disagreeing votes of
the two Houses upon said subject.
We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs.
Laird, Ellegood and Hill.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
January 22d, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
We have received your message, proposing the ap
pointment of a committee of conference on the disagree-
ing votes of the two Houses, relative to adjournment,
to be composed of three on the part of the House, and
three on the part of the Senate, and respectfully con-
cur therein; we have appointed on the part of the
Senate. Messrs. Evans, Moss and Wootton.
