We have received your message, proposing that
when the two Houses of the General Assembly ad-
journ to-day, they stand adjouned until Tuesday next
at 8 P. M., and we respectfully non-concur therein.

Mr. Laird submitted the following message :
By THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 22d, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
We have received your message, non-concurring in
the message of the House of Delegates, proposing that
when the two Houses adjourn to-day they stand ad-
journed until Tuesday next at 8 P. M., and respect-
fully propose the appointment of a committee of con-
ference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, to
be composed of two members on the part of the
Senate, and three members on the part of the House.
We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs.
Laird, Ellegood and Hill.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
