Mr. Haslup, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 104,
105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 115 and 116
of Article 14, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Howard County," sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact
the following in lieu thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Lane, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 136 of Article 5, 182 of Art-
icle 9, and 112 of Article 19, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, of the respective titles "Calvert County,"
"Charles County" and "St. Mary's County," and
under the sub-title "Terrapins, &c.," the said respec-
tive sections being an enactment in one chapter and
applicable to three counties aforesaid.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 136 of Article 5, 182 of Art-
icle 9, and 112 of Article 19, of the Code of Public
Laws, of the respective titles "Calvert County,"
"Charles County" and "St. Mary's County," and
under the sub-title "Terrapins, &c."
Which was read a first time.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 233, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Rape," and
chapter 410 of the Acts of Assembly of 1890, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
Endorsed: "Reported favorably from the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings . with amendments;
amendments adopted ; read the third time, and passed
by yeas and nays, with proposed amendments."
