On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to accept the transfer
of the city 6 per cent, stock in which the Peabody
Institute Fund is now invested, and in consideration
thereof to issue other stock to an amount not exceed-
ing five hundred thousand dollars, to said fund.
On motion of Mr. Orrick,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enlarge
and extend the powers and franchises of the Glyndon
Permanent Building Association of Baltimore county,
so as to enable it to make loans on promissory notes
and purchase evidence of debt.
On motion of Mr. Miles,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester Delegation to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Board
of County Commissioners of Dorchester county to
borrow the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000), for
the purpose of placing an iron draw in the bridge
across Cambridge creek, and for making other im-
provements to said bridge.
Mr. Sellman submitted the following message :

ble Body, that when the General Assembly adjourns
to-day, it stand adjourned till Tuesday night next, at
