Act to add a new section to Article 39, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Fish and Fisheries,"
under the new sub-title "Pound Nets," to follow im-
mediately after section 03, to be designated as "Sec-
tion 63 A"
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Frank T. Gibson for publishing the
Constitutional amendments.
On motion of Mr Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the
charter of the Baltimore, Canton and Point Breeze
Railway Company of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Haslup,
Leave was granted to the Howard County Delega-
tion and Mr. Berret to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to repeal sections 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109,110, 111,
112, 11:3, 115, 116, of Article 14, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Howard County," sub title
"Roads."
On motion of Mr. Hamilton, Jr.,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit
pool-selling or gambling on racing or contests or events
in Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Hygiene to
introduce a bill entitled an Act for the regulation of
the sale of opium or cocaine in any form.
On motion of Mr. Lane.
Leave was granted to the Calvert, Charles and St.
Mary's Delegations to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section
136, of Article 5, 182 of Article 9, 112 of Article 19, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, of the respective titles
"Calvert County," "Charles County," and "St. Mary's
County," and under the sub-title "Terrapins, &c.,"
the said respective sections being an enactment in one
chapter and applicable to the three counties afore-
said.
