Means, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act making appropriations
for the support of the State Government for the fiscal
year ending on the day of September, 1893.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act making appropriations
for the support of the State Government for the fiscal
year ending on the 30th day of September, 1894.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate certain
sums of money for the support of sundry schools and
charitable institutions in the State of Maryland for
each of the two fiscal years ending on the 30th day of
September, 1893, and the 30th day of September,
1894, respectively.

Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 16, of the
Acts of 1880, entitled an Act to adjust and settle finally
by agreement all pending controversies between the
State of Maryland and the Northern Central Railway
Company, by subjecting the franchises and property
of said company within this State to taxation to a
certain extent, and to provide for the payment of cer-
tain indebtedness claimed by the State of Maryland
to exist on the part of said Northern Central Railway
Company to said State of Maryland.

Mr. Brashears, from the Committee on Temperance,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified
voters of any Election District in any county cr ward
in any incorporated town or city wherein the sale of
alcoholic or intoxicating liquors for beverages is not
prohibited by law, to determine whether said liquors,
may be sold therein.
