On motion of Mr, Gallagher,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpor-
ations to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate
Insurance Companies.
On motion of Mr. Bryan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enable the quali-
fied voters of the Fifth Election District of Queen
Anne's county to determine by ballot whether spirit-
uous or fermented liquors shall be sold in said elec-
tion district or a license granted for the sale of same.

Code of Public General Laws, title "Oysters," sub-
title "Packing Oysters."
Which was read a first time, aud referred to the
Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Laird introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to and an additional sec-
tion to Article 19, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Comptrollers," to be known as section
41.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
