Ordered, That Mr. Godwin be excused for non-
attendance upon this week's session, on account of
sickness.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Laird,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an
additional section to Article 19, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, title "Comptroller," to be known
as section 41.
On motion of Mr. Gallagher.
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section
53, of Article 72, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Oysters," sub-title "Packers."
On motion of Mr. Sappington, of Anne Arundel,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to
add two additional sections to Article 2, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne
Arundel County," sub-title "Oysters," to be desig-
nated as "section 188 A and 188 B."
On motion of Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to the Worcester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to submit
to the qualified voters of the town of Bishopville,
in Worcester county, at an election hereafter to be
called, the question as to whether or not sections
60 to 80, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Worcester County," sub-title "Bishopville,"
shall be repealed.
On motion of Mr. Brennan,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact with amendments, section 410, of Article 4,
of the Code of Public Local Liws, title "City of Bal-
timore," sub-title "Houses of Refuge and Reforma-
tion."
