Mr. Wilkinson reported favorably from a Select
Committee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Isle of
Wight Inlet and Oyster Planting Company of Wor-
cester county.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Section 9, line 4, insert after word "inlet" the fol-
lowing words: "In sufficient quantities to salt the
waters of the said bays for the planting, cultivation
and growth of oysters in said bays."
Substitute in place of section 16, the following:
"Sec. 16. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts in consistent with the provisions of this Act.,
be and the same are hereby repealed "
Add section 17:
"Sec, 17. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage."
Which were severally adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.
Also, reported unfavorably from a Select Com-
mittee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit persons other
than land owners bordering on said creek from fish-
ing with sein or net of any kind within the waters of
Little Magothy creek.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Strong, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the County Commissioners of Kent county to
open a street or road through certain private property
in said county.
Which was read a second time.
