Mr. Brashears, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill er titled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 325 and 126, of Article 2, of
the Code ol Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "County Commissioners."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 32, section 126, after the word "estate," in-
sert the words "or leasehold property."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.
Also, favorably, from a Select Committee, with pro-
posed amendments,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 171,
172, 175, 176 and 178, of Article 2, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-
title "Justice of the Peace," and to re enact said sec-
tions with amendments, and to add new sections to
said Article Article 2, to be designated as sections
171 A, 171, B, 176 A, 176 B, 178 A, 178 B, and 178 G.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section B, line 39, after P. M., insert the words
"and from seven o'clock, P. M. to ten o'clock, P. M."
Also,
In line 126, strike out the words "forty," and insert
"fifty."
Also,
In line 130, strike out the word "forty," and insert
the word "fifty."
Also,
Amend section 178 A, by striking out all of said
section after the word "except," in line 103, and in-
sert "he shall be allowed the sum of twenty-five dol-
lars per month by the Mayor, Counsellor and Alder-
men of the City of Annapolis, for services rendered
in cases for violation of the Code of said city.
Which were severally adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.
