Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Walkersville, in Frederick county, Maryland.
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. Fitzgerald, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," under the new sub-title to be
railed "Oysters," and to be known as section 704 A,
relating to the licensing of Measurers of Oysters in
the city of Baltimore.
Also, favorably, from a Select Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-
enact section 614, of Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables," as amended by
chapter 230 of the Acts passed January Session, 1890.
Which were severally read a first time, with pro-
posed amendments.
Also, favorably, from a Select Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
Wyatt Owen to build a bridge from a point on the
shore of the Patapsco river, near Lester's wharf, to
connect with Light Street Bridge over the Patapsco
River.
Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably, from a Select Committee,
with proposed amendment,
House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 4, sec-
tion 81, of the Constitution of Maryland.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
At the end of line three, strike out the word "one,"
and insert in lieu thereof the words "any Judge," and
in line five, at the beginning thereof, after the word
"the," insert the words "Supreme Bench of," and in
same line, after the word "city," strike out the word
Courts."
Which was adopted.
Raid bill, as amended, was then read a second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
