money to pay the claim of Lemuel J. Mitchell for
services rendered the State of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Bill was substituted for the unfavorable report.
Mr. Meredith moved to strike out the enacting
clause of the bill.
Which motion prevailed.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Philip Funk,
of Washington county, Maryland, the sum of twenty
dollars and eighty-three cents erroneously paid into
the State Treasury.
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also, reported unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the State
Live Stock Sanitary Board to pay Richard E. Gott, of
Anne Arundel county, a sum of money for a horse
killed infected with glanders.
Mr. Brawhears moved to substitute the bill for tke
unfavorable report, and make that motion the Order of
the Day for Tuesday, March 22nd, 12.30 P. M.

Gordy, late Collector of Taxes for Wicomico county,
a certain sum of money erroneously paid by him into
the Treasury.
