The House resumed session at 7.30 P. M.

On motion of Mr. Sams,
The House took a recess until 8 P M., to allow
addresses by Messrs. Hayman and Platt, of Baltimore,
in favor of oyster planting in the Eastern Bay.
The House at 9 P. M. resumed its session.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Ellegood presented a petition from William H.
Jackson and 182 other citizens of Wicomico county,
for an amendment of the Act of 1890, relating: to the
sale of liquor in said county, requiring free holders
signing applications for license to own real estate to
the extent of $500, over all incumberances,
Winch was read and referred to the Wicomico
County Delegation.
Mr. Collins presented a petition from Solomon Mul-
likin and 200 other citizens of Trappe Election Dis-
trict, of Talbot county, opposing any change in the
dividing line between Easton and Trappe districts.
