Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to pay J.
H. Medairy & Co., for printing the official ballots for
the elections of 1890 and 1891, as provided by section
138 and 160, chapter 538, of the Acts of 1890, and
also for printing of Registration Books, amount
$5,424.47.
On motion of Mr. Hill,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's county to issue bonds, &c.,
chapter 121, of the Acts of General Assembly 1890.
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Agricul-
ture to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
Legislative assent of the State of Maryland to the
provisions of an Act of Congress of 1890, entitled an
Act to apply a portion of the proceeds of the public
lands to the more complete endowment and support
of the College for the benefit of agriculture, &c.
On motion of Mr. Hamilton, Jr.,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and direct the clerk of the Circuit Court for Balti-
more county to pay an annual sum of money to the
Chief and resident Associate Judge of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county, from license-fees received
by him and payable to the Treasurer of said county.
On motion of Mr, Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
chapter 23, of the Acts passed at the last session of
the General Assembly of Maryland, in the year 1882,
entitled an Act to designate the holidays to be ob-
served in the acceptance and payments of bills of ex-
change, bank checks, drafts and promissory notes,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Ireland,
Leave was granted to the Calvert Delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct
the Sheriffs, Magistrates and other officers of Calvert
county to pay over to the Treasurer for said county,
all moneys collected for fines, &c.
