Mr. Schlaffer, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate biil entitled an Act to establish a free bridge
over the Patapsco river between Baltimore and
Howard counties, at a point near to Orange Grove,
and to authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore
county to levy a tax to the amount of fifteen thousand
dollars, and to authorize the Commissioners of
Howard county to issue bonds to the amount of fifteen-
thousand dollars, to be expended in the construction.
of said bridge, and the acquisition of the necessary
land adjoining it, and to authorize the condemnation
of such lands and to authorize the levying of taxes by
the respective counties to provide for the payment of
said bonds with interest, and for the keeping of said
bridge in repair and to provide for the opening of
roads to afford access to said bridge.

of the Circuit Court for Wicomico county to have
made suitable cases for the books and papers in his.
office and empowering the County Commissioners of
Wicomico county to pay for same.

the same applies to Frederick county, to add new sec-
tions to Article 11, Public Local Laws, title "Fred-
erick County," to be designated as sections 311 A, B,
C, D, E, F, G, H and I.
