Mr. Fitzgerald, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Constitution of this Stale.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled ah Act to allow the sale of to-
bacco, cigars, soda, or mineral waters in, or medicines
and medical remedies on the Sabbath day, commonly
called Sunday, in the city of Baltimore.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council to appropriate a sum of money for
the purchase of a site and the erection thereon of a
statue to the late Johns Hopkins.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 337, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, and to
re-enact the same.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably.
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to appro-
priate a sum of money, not to exceed $10,000, to the
erection of a monument in the said city of Baltimore,
to the memory of the Maryland patriots and soldiers
of the war of the American Revolution.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably, from a Select Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for an equit-
able adjustment between vendor and vendee in case of
default where sales are made on the installment plan
in Baltimore city.
Also, favorably, from a Select Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore city to acquire a
majority of the capital stock of the Baltimore and
Eastern Shore Railroad Company, and a controlling
interest therein, and to enter into an engagement with
the present creditors thereof on certain terms.
