House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint three additional Notaries Public for Bal-
timore city, being upon its third reading and final
passage,

The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
to consider said bill.

When said bill was considered.
Mr. Field submitted the following; proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out the word "three," and insert the word
"four," after the word "appoint."
Also, amend title by striking out "three" and in-
serting "four."
Which were adopted.
