"county," the words ''and chapter 208, Laws of 1890,"
except that part which applies to Uniontown District.
With recommendation that they be adopted.
On motion of Mr. Sellman,
The same were adopted, and the said bill as amend-
ed was then passed by yeas and nays, as follows :
AFFIRMATIVE.—Messrs. Speaker, Combs, Garner,
Strong, Brashears, Donaldson, Hutchins, Sappington,
of Anne Arundel, Lane, Carrico, Maddox, Orrick,
Cole, Elliott, Hamilton, Jr., Monmonier, Schlaffer,
Wooters, Sterling, Meredith, Smith, of Dorchester,
Kirk, Beeks, Grove, of Cecil, Hill, Wallen, Franklin,
Wilkinson, Hayman, McSherry, Gaver, Grove, of
Frederick, Bevard, Stearns, Deen, Thompson, Carter,
Field, Bowie, of Baltimore city, Gill, Sams, Carr,
Joyce, Shafer, Barber, Young, Hosken, Sr., Haines,
Sellman, Berret, Tracey, ITaslup. Ellegood, Moore,

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then ordered re-engrossed, and sent to
the Senate.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint three additional Notaries Public for Bal-
timore city, being upon its third reading and final
passage,
On motion of Mr. Field
The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
to consider said bill.
The Speaker called Mr. Fitzgerald to the Chair,
When said bill was considered.
Mr. Field submitted the following; proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out the word "three," and insert the word
"four," after the word "appoint."
Also, amend title by striking out "three" and in-
serting "four."
Which were adopted.
