Mr. Thompson, from the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to establish and promote
the industry of oyster culture in Eastern Bay and its
tributaries.
Mr. Sams moved to substitute the bill for the un-
favorable report, and make that motion the Order of
the Day for March 22nd, at 12.30 P. M.

Mr. Berret, from the Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the Burgess and Commissioners of Taneytown
to make a contract with any body corporate or joint
stock water company that may hereafter be formed
in Taneytown for the supply of water and erection
of plugs, and to levy taxes to pay for same.
