lic or private buildings in said county, and of any city
or town therein, and for motive power and other pur-
poses, and said corporation, is hereby authorized and
empowered to lay, purchase, construct or build lines
and conductors and conduits, under, along, upon or
over the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, roads or ways
whatsoever, paved or unpaved in said county, or any
city or town therein, and over, under and along any
private properly in said county, the consent of the
owner or owners of said private property being first had
and obtained, and to connect the same with any manu-
factory, public or private building, lamp or other
structure or obiect, car or conveyance, and in
general to manufacture, sell, furnish or supply
electric light and electric power, or stored elec-
tricity, and electrical machinery and supplies, for
any and all purposes that may be desired or required,
and to use the necessary means to accomplish the
purposes of this incorporation; and said Company
shall also have power, if in the opinion of the Direc-
tors, or a majority of them, at any time, it shall be
deemed wise to establish and operate, throughout the
said county, lines of electric railway, with single or
double tracks, and necessary turnouts and sidings;
and said corporation is also empowered to use any of
the streets, roads, alleys and highways of the said
county, or to pass over any private property in said
county, for the purposes of any such lines of electric
railway; and said company is also empowered to pur-
chase, lease, rent, or erect at such place or places, in
said county, as from time to time may be deemed de-
sirable by the Directors of said Company, for the
time being, all such buildings, works, manufactories,
railways, lines, tracks, conduits and shops, and im-
provements, as may be useful to said corporation;
provided, however, that in the use of the streets,
lanes, roads and highways of said county, or of any
city or town therein, the said corporation shall be
subject to any law or ordinance that may be passed
by said municipal authorities of said town or city, or
the County Commissioners of said county, for the
filling up, repairing, or restoring such streets, roads
or highways to their normal condition; and provided
further, that in case the said company shall not be
