enact the following in lieu thereof, in amending and
revising the charter of Hagerstown and in providing
for the government thereof, and to and new and addi-
tional sections to Article 22, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Washington County," sub-title
"Hagerstown."
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to certain bequests contained in the last
will and testament of Sarah Jane Fitch, deceased, late
of Baltimore city, Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 2, of Article 74, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Pilots," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation,
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend Article 4,
section 31, of the Constitution of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to the Worcester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 156 and 169, of Article 24, of the Code of
Fjiblic Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-
title "Ocean City," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Fitzgerald introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the United
States Trust and Guarantee Company.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Mr. Gill introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of
Article 74, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Pilots," and re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.
