On motion of Mr. Hamilton.
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to make a special levy of not more than twenty
cents on each one hundred dollars of assessable prop-
erty in the village of Mt. Washington, in Baltimore
county, for the purpose of bettering the roads, side-
walks, sanitary measures, drainage, and other im-
provements in said village, if fifteen or more persons
owning taxable property in said village shall petition
therefor.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled au Act to prohibit the
granting of license for the sale of spirituous or fer-
mented liquors or lager beer within the radius of one
and one half miles of white public schoolhouse No. 9,
8th Election District of Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr. Monmonier,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to make a special annual tax levy of fifteen
cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessable
property in (he Thirteenth Election District of Balti-
more county, for the purpose of macadamizing the
county roads of said district, ii fifty or more taxable
residents of said district shall petition therefor.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to permit
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county to lay
out and open public roads in the Thirteenth Election
District of Baltimore county, within two miles of
Baltimore city.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and empower Wyatt Owen to build a bridge from a
point on the shore of the Patapsco River, near
"Lester's1 Wharf," to connect with Light Street
Bridge over the Patapsco River.
