On motion of Mr. Field, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Promotion of the
World's Fair be allowed the privilege of the floor of
this House from 6 to 8 P. M., on Wednesday, March
23, proximo.
On motion of Mr. Thompson, it was
Ordered, That the privilege of the Hall of the
House of Delegates be granted to the Canton Oyster
Exchange, for Thursday, March 17th, to address the
members of the General Assembly in opposition to
the "Sams Bill," otherwise known as the "Oyster
Planting Law," from 7.30 to 9 P. M.
On motion of Mr. McSherry, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Sappingtoh, of Frederick, be
excused from to-night's session.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
United States Trust and Guarantee Company.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill enti-
tled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments
section 154, of Article 2, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Fish,
Crabs and Terrapins," as amended by chapter 374, of
the Acts of 1890.
On motion of Mr. Maddox,
Leave was granted to the Kent County Delegation
and Mr. Maddox to introduce a bill entitled an Act to
regulate the deposit of moneys of public officers of
Kent county.
On motion of Mr. Lane,
Leave was granted to the Calvert County Delega-
tion and Mr. Combs to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal sections 52, 53 and 54, of Article 5, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title ''Calvert County,' "
sub-titled "County Commissioners."
