Mr. Gallagher submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 2, lines 32 and 33, strike out the words
nor to working tools of manufacturers moved or
worked exclusively by hand."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Laird submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 4, line 89, strike out the word "election"
and insert the word "collection" in lieu thereof, and
in line 90 strike out the word "election" and insert
the word "collection" in lieu thereof.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Collins submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 4, line 10, after the word ''district," add
the following words: "For which there shall be
appointed two assessors at large, and also one assessor
for each Election District in said county, each of
which said district assessors, but only for the district
in which he shall be appointed, shall join and act
with the said two assessors at large for said county
in, assessing all the property herein required to be
assessed in the Election District only for which he
shall be so appointed.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Carrico submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 4, line 60, strike out all after the word
"county," down to word "Dorchester," in line 62,
and insert in lieu thereof the following: "Charles
county shall be divided into four assessment districts:
Hie first composed of the First Collection District,
the second composed of the Second Collection Dis-
