to Aiticle 56, of the Code of Pubic General Laws, title
"Licenses," sub-title "Penalties," to be designated
as sections 89 B and 89 C, relating to obtaining
liquois by minors and giving liquors to minors
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint three additional Notaries Public for Balti-
more city.
House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore," to follow immediately after
section 31, and to be called "Section 31 A."
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of St. Mary's county to levy a suffi-
cient sum of money for the erection of two school
houses in said county.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 110, of
Article 19, Code of Public Local Laws, title "St.
Mary's County," sub title "State's Attorney."
House bill entitled an Act to prescribe the compen-
sation and regulate the sessions of the Orphans' Court
for St. Mary's county.
Were severally read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Frederick County," sub-title "Intoxicating Drinks,"
to follow section 311 A, 311 B, 311 C, 311 D, 311 E,
311 F, 811 G. 311 H, relating to the sale of spirituous
and fermented liquors.
Mr. McSherry submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 311 B, in line 6, strike out the words "two
hundred and fifty" and insert "one hundred."
Also, in section 311 B, in line 8, strike out the
words "six months" and insert "one month."
Which were severally read and adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
