Mr. Sams, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 756, of Article 4, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "City of Bal-
timore," sub-title "Police."
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 741, 742, 745, 746 and 747,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Police."
Mr. Ellegood, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of
Article 23, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Wicomico County," sub-title "Birds and Game,"
and re-enact the same with amendments.
Mr. Wilson, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
Senate bill entitled in Act to regulate the institu-
tion of suits before Justices of the Peace in Kent
county.
Mr. Laird, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
oaably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Montgomery county to subscribe to
the capital stock of turnpike companies in said county.
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. Bittinger, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of an additional Justice of the Peace in
District No 7, Garrett county, to be located at Moun-
tain Lake Park.
Which was read a second time.
BILLS SECOND READING.
House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 27, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Crimes and Punishments," by adding a new sub-
title to be known as "Bawdy Houses and Houses of
Ill Fame," and add a new section to be known as sec-
