"Landlord and Tenant," sub-title "Distress f or Rent,"
prohibiting the removal, sale, secretion or destruction
of property or effects liable for rent by . the tenant,
until the rent be paid, or by and with the written
consent of the landlord, to come in after section 18,
and be designated as "Section 18 A."
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Sams, from the Committee on Education, re-
ported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to the School
Commissioners of Garrett county a sum of money
out of the State School Tax.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Wilkinson, from the Committee on Amend
ments to the Constitution, reported back,
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Constitution of this State.
With recommendation that said bill be referred to
the Baltimore City Delegation.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Shafer; from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the number
and terms of the County Commissioners of Washing-
ton county.
Mr. Sappington, of Anne Arundel county, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit persons other
than residents of Anne Arundel county from fishing
with sein or net of any kind within the waters of
Marley Creek and Furnace Creek.
Mr. Collins, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 14, of
Article 25, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"County Commissioners," so far as the same relates
to Talbot county, and to repeal section 31, of Article
21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Talbot
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," so as to
fix the terms and compensation of the County Com-
missioners of said county.
