Mr. McSherry presented a petition from B. J. Jam-
ison and 28 other citizens of Walkersville, protesting
against the incorporation of said town in Frederick
county.
Which was read, and referred to the Frederick
County Delegation.
Mr. Sams presented a petition from Tyler, Leach &
Co. and 50 others, asking for relief from oppressive
telephone rates.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Ordered, That the privilege of the House be granted
to a delegation from Baltimore city to address the
House on the merits of the bill now pending up in the
Chesapeake Bay and it; Tributaries, House Bill No.
162, on next Wednesday evening, from 7:30 to 9 P. M.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Ordered, That when the House adjourns to-night it
adjourn until 11 A. M. to-morrow.

to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 39, of Article 27, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Destroying
Property Maliciously," as enaeted by the Act of 1890,
chapter 490.

Leave be granted to the Elections Committee to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments new section 166, cf Article 33, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Elections," as enacted by an Act of 1890, chapter
538.

Leave be granted to the Committee on Ways and
