On motion of Mr. Hayman,
The Committee then rose.
The Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Brennan, as Chairman of the Committee of the
Whole House, reported the said bill entitled an Act
to appropriate a sum of money to pay Geo. M. Pearce.,
Ex-Sergeant-at-Arms, for services rendered,
With proposed amendments, with recommendation
that they be adopted and bill passed.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 5, after the word "mileage," insert the fol-
lowing: "And to pay Albert J. Merrill, of Worces-
ter county, for services rendered the House of Dele-
gates as Assistant Door Keeper, from January 6th,
1892, the sum of $134, being S days per diem and
mileage."
Also, in title of bill, after the words "Geo. M.
Pearce," insert the words "Albert J. Merrill."
On motion of Mr. Hayman,
The same were adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was ordered to be re en
grossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact
with amendments section 205, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-
title "Trustees."
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
