The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
to consider said bill.
The Speaker called Mr. Brennan to the Chair,
When said bill was considered.
Mr. Hayman submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 5, after the word "mileage," insert the fol-
lowing: "And to pay to Albert I. Merrill, of Worces-
ter county, for services rendered the House of Dele-
gates as Assistant Door-Keeper, from January 6th,
1893, the sum of $134, being 8 days per diem and
mileage."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Sams submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In title of bill, after the words "George M. Pearce,"
insert the words "Albert I. Merrill."
