Mr. Smith, of Washington county, reported favor-
ably, from a Select Committee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 72 to
88, inclusive, of Article 22, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled "Washington County," sub-
title "Clearspring," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
"Which was read a second time.
Mr. Ellegood, reported favorably, from a Select
Committee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and Council of Salisbury, Wicomico county, to bor-
row money for the erection of a market-house.
Which was read a second time.
M . Johnson, reported favorably, from a Select
Committee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 51, of
Article 6, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Caroline County," sub title "County Commis-
sioners," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and to add four new sections hereunto, to be called
section 51 A, section 51 B, section 51 C, section 51 D,
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Green, reported favorably, from, a Select Com-
mittee,
Senate" bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the repayment to James E. Dashiell a citizen of
Somerset county, of acertain fine illegally imposed
upon him by William H. Groscup, a Justice of the
Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for Somerset
county.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Anderson, reported favorably, from a Select
Committee,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the County Commissioriers of Somerset county to levy
for and pay to the Judge of the Orphans' Court of
Somerset county the same mileage as is now allowed
to the County Commissioners by the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland.
