Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That on the cons ruction
of said road, and the repairs of the road bed between
the tracks, the same shall be clone under the super-
vision and direction of the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county, where the road lies in said county,
and under the supervision and direction of the City
Commissioners of Baltimore city, where the road lies
in said city.
Sec. 8 And be it enacted that this Act shall rake
effect from the date of its passage.
Which was adopted.
Said bill as amended, was then read a second time,
and ordered engrossed for a third reading.
Also, reported favorably, from same Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Corporations." sub-title "Insurance Depart-
ment," to be known as section 143.
Which was read n second time, and ordered en
grossed for a third reading.
Also, reported favorably, from same Committee.
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Writing Telegraph Company of Baltimore city, a
corporation heretofore formed in the city of Balti-
more, under the provisions of the general corporation
law of this State.
Which was mid a second time.
REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Maddox, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
House bill entitled an Act to empower the County
Commissioners of Charles county to levy a sum of
money for the building of a, school house for white
children in Harris' Lot Section, in the Fifth Election
District of Charles county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Young, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Lonaconing, in Allegany county.
Which was read a first time.
