On motion of Mr. Maddox,
Leave was granted to the Charles County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to empower the
County Commissioners of Charles county to levy a
sum of money for the building of a school-house for
white children in Harris' Lot Section, Fifth Election
District of Charles county.
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Talbot County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act relating to oysters
in Eastern Bay.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to regulate the taking of oysters in certain waters
of Dorchester county.
On motion of Mr. Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an ad-
ditional section to Aiticle 11, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Frederick County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," to be designated
as '"Section 95 A," relating to the taxation of savings
banks and institutions located in Frederick city.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enlarge and
define the taxable limits of Frederick city, and to re-
peal section 254, of Article 11, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Frederick," and to enact a substitute in
lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the
Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Fred-
erick, Maryland, to sell and convey certain real estate
in Frederick city.
On motion of Mr. Barber,
Leave was granted to the Allegany County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate
the Cumberland Stone Company, in Allegany county.
