Mr. Wooters presented a petition from M. T. Golds-
borough, Col. O. Tilghman and 384 other citizens of
Talbott county, asking the submission of high license
to the voters of said county at the next general
election.
Mr. Leonard presented a petition from T. C. Golds-
borough and 160 other citizens of Talbot county, ask-
ing that that part of Trappe District, known as Bay-
ley's Neck, be placed in Easton District.
Which was read, and referred to the Talbot County
Delegation.
Also, presented a petition from Walter H. Thomp-
son and 38 other citizens of same county, in opposition
to high license.
Also, presented a petition from Ormond Hammond
and 38 other citizens of said county, in opposition to
high license.
Which were severally read and referred to the Tal-
bot County Delegation.
Also, presented a petition from D. C. Larrimore and
300 other citizens of said county, as king the repeal of
chapter 381 of the Acts of 1876, relating to the taking
oysters in the Eastern Bay.
Which was read, and referred to the Talbot County
Delegation.
Mr. Gaver presented a petition of Lewis W. Riddle-
moser and 317 citizens of Frederick county, protesting
against the passage of the bill to increase the price
of liquor licenses and restricting the rights of store-
keepers selling liquors, beer, &c.
Which was read, and referred to the Frederick
County Delegation.
Mr. McSherry presented a petition from Charles G.
Trail and 232 other citizens of Frederick county, ask-
ing the passage of bill No. 15, known as the "Mc-
Sherry Bill," for the prevention of grocery store bar-
rooms.
Which was read, and referred to the Frederick
County Delegation.
