REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Carter, from the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 93, of
Article 98, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law," sub-title "Register of Wills,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to appropriate a sum of
money annually for the relief of the Simmons Home
for Friendless Children of Baltimore.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to sanction the bequest
of John Young, of C., to the Evangelical Lutheran
Church of Frederick, to the residue of testator's estate,
to be applied to the Evangelical Lutheran Sunday
School at Frederick county, Maryland.
Which were severally read a first time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 1, of Article 45, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Husband and Wife."
Which was read a second time.
Also, reported back,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 44 and
158, of Article 33, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Elections," as enacted by the Act of 1890, chap-
ter 538,
With the suggestion that said bill be referred to the
Committee on Elections.
Bill so referred.
Mr. Tracey, from the Committee on Labor, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add a new Article to
the Code of Public General Laws, to be known as
"Stationary Engineers," and to be numbered "Article
101."
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Berret, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the im-
provement of the State House grounds.
