with amendments chapter 224, of the Acts of 1890, en-
titled an Act to repeal sections 61, 69 and 74, of
Article 23, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Wicomico County," sub-title "Liquors
and Intoxicating Drinks."
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Baltimore City," sub-title "Condemnation," to
be known as, section 148 A, authorizing the Mayor and
Council to condemn property for public purposes and
to provide methods of condemnation.
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit pool-selling,
book-making or betting in the counties of Baltimore
and Anne Arundel.
Were severally read a second time, and ordered en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to confirm ordinance No.
23, approved April 8th, 1891, of the ordinances of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, entitled an
ordinance to authorize the construction of city pas-
senger railway tracks by the North Avenue Railway
Company of Baltimore city, on North Avenue.
