Also, reported back,
House bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1890,
chaper 538, title ''Elections."
With suggestions that said bill be referred to Com-
mittee on Elections.
Bill so referred.
Mr. Field, from the Committee on Elections, re-
ported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 3, Chapter 538, of the
Public General Laws, title "Elections," as enacted by
the Act of 1890.
Mr. Brashears, from the Committee on Temperance,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the sale
of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at
the Sugar Loaf School House, in Frederick county,
Md., and within two and one-half miles thereof.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the
granting of licenses for the sale of spirituous
or fermented liquors or lager beer within three miles
miles of Forrest Grove Methodist Episcopal Church
South, in Frederick county.
Were severally read a first time.
Mr. Field, from the Committee on Militia, eported
favorably,
With proposed amendment:
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 10, of Article 65, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Militia," sub-title
"Commissions," and sections 38, 39, 42 and 43, of
the same Article, title "Militia," sub-title "Maryland
National Guard," and to add new sections thereto.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
"Any member of the Maryland National Guard who
shall wilfully and unlawfully misapply or convert to
his own use any money or other property belonging
to said Maryland National Guard, or any organization
thereof, or who shall, when lawfully called upon so
